STEREO Dynamic sound shapper ( compressor )

DYNAX3 is a stereo opto compressor/limitor dedicated to mix ( master bus, drums , etc…). You can use it from usual signal compression to very creative dynamic treatement.

The DYNAX3 is the famous AL.SO DYNAX2 ( year 2003) successor with more options and extended controls.

We thanks all the people who has mixed every kind of music from classical to electronic, from studio mix to large concert halls with DYNAX2.

DYNAX2 versus DYNAX3 ? Dynax3 has a more modern approach with BLEND ( mix processed and original sound), extended settings regarding time constant but sound and philosophy remain the same.

Note that 2 versions could be delivered:

• TL is the transfoless version.
• TF has output transformers ( like in DYNAX2 ) , more stepped controls.It has this ringing effect on the extended band ( after 30kHz) that create some additional “ helium” .

NEW FEATURES:

-You can insert an EQ in the side chain, or send  shift in advance signal ( trough the external side chain input) in order to make the reaction faster.

– The exclusive SORGIN feature ( means SORCERESS) is a “no time constant” compression that makes distorsion , following quickly the compression .

A blend function has been added in order to mix direct and limited signal.

In addition, you can insert an EQ in the side chain, or send  shift in advance signal in order to make the reaction faster.

 

THD is very low, people use it for transparent compression, but with the good attack and release time, DYNAX3 create new sounds!

Frequency response : flat from 10Hz to 120kHz ( TL version)

Frequency response for -6dB gain reduction: 10Hz to 62kHz ( TL version)

Input stage is DC servo technology. Output is electronaly balanced  (TL version).

The detector is a particular circuit  , associated to his time constant circuitry permits compression to hard limiting and negative ratios.

We use selected OP AMPs and opto cells.

 

You can access to a very large time constant range and you can access to some rare settings in order to change your sound.

In order to compare treated and untreated signal, you can HARDWARE BYPASS the signal.

This 19” unit can be selected  for 110V AC or 230 V AC, using an internal switch.Never operate this when machine plugged to the main.This could be lethal!

We construct analog audio stuff.Due to components tolerances, engraving just reflects average and not exact values.

Logo engraving needs a vectorized file.

Price is for a standard one color engraving.

Some logos could need to much complicated for engraving, you will be asked to send us a simplified version.
