3 bands UK classic equaliser / 500 Series

Unusualy at Bolling Design, NEQ5 is designed from an old classic circuit, the Neve 81 /82 series consoles one’s.But with our ideas.

This EQ, is a 3 bands “bell” equalizer.

Gain is aproximatively +/-15dB

Low frequencies : from 30 Hz to 600 Hz

Mid frequencies from 400 Hz to 6kHz

High frequencies from 2,7kHz to 30 kHz

Why 30kHz ?

Unless general knowledge says we could ear until 20 kHz, we know that it is not exact ( think about the “super twweters”, the 96kHz or 192 kHz recording, the high speed signal transitories ).

Another reason is that, if you make a bell equalization at 30 kHz, the signal will be affected to the frequencies above 20kHz.If you preset the high band to “HELIUM” position, you will be able to modidify the etheric side of your sound.

Maximum current  per rail: 80mA

We construct analog audio stuff.Due to components tolerances, engraving just reflects average and not exact values.

Logo engraving needs a vectorized file.

Price is for a standard one color engraving.

Some logos could need to much complicated for engraving, you will be asked to send us a simplified version.
